The project adapts a former Strip District storage room into a 1,400 square foot salon. By opening the front corner of the building, a storefront now connects MCN to its urban neighborhood. A trellis and stair are positioned to delineate the entry, to screen the view of adjacent parking, and to provide a clear view of the green wall. This wall, especially at night, has now become synonymous with MCN’s identity.
