Formerly the location of a strip mill for Jones & Laughlin Steel, this 48 acre riverfront site has become an exemplar in Pittsburgh’s shedding an image of heavy industry, while embracing cutting edge research and technology. With a roster of corporate and university facilities already in place, demand for additional building parcels on the site is forecast to exceed the supply. We designed the new land development plan, together with LaQuatra Bonci Associates, to increase density, and to weave, over time, an integrated and attractive campus.
