A new paradigm in classroom technology was needed to support the school’s mission of being “Where business and technology intersect.” The solution required simultaneous development of furniture and technology, so that disparate components could be integrated into an ergonomic whole. Each seat includes a video touch-panel, microphone, power, and data ports. Digital nameplates light-up the fronts of the desks, and integrate with room control software at the lectern. The A/V system allows classes to be recorded, or linked in real-time with locations around the globe.
