While at UDA Architects (now Urban Design Associates), Karen Loysen and Peter Kreuthmeier worked in collaboration on a number of large scale architecture projects. For the new University Center, a joint venture with Michael Dennis & Associates, Karen captained the team responsible for the interior architecture. As a member of this team, Peter worked with the University to develop accessibility features that went well beyond the standards prescribed by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
