Offices include an open area for full-time staff, additional areas for volunteer staff, a private office for the station manager, and a conference/work room. To satisfy the desire for openness and to provide maximum daylight, all walls not required for sound separation are held free of the ceiling. As a result, during the day, task lamps at the work stations are the only lighting required. The manager’s office and conference/work room walls are clad with translucent panels to provide privacy, yet allow light to filter through.
